2004 saw our 23rd AND FINAL annual Waterways Tour traveling by rivers and canals in our narrow boat, The Angry Bull and performing our plays at waterside pubs and at waterways festivals and events. Day-Star will now be concentrating on developing our rural community tours and our theatre in education projects.
However, we just can’t keep away from the water all together! so in 2005 we will be Dredging up the past! with a special compilation show of extracts of scenes and music from some of our past plays at a few waterways festivals and events.
This is a bit of a change from seeing a complete Day-Star play and the emphasis will be on the comedy and music. During the past 4 years we have compiled similar shows especially for our local Music & Arts Festival at Audlem in Cheshire and they have been great fun and very popular.
